How do I place an order?

Choose the style you love (ink & wash, or ink & watercolor) and place your order here. You'll then receive a short form to share your reference photos and a few details to help me start your project.

Can I request changes or custom details?

Of course — every illustration is made just for you, and each one is one of a kind. Small details can be added, adjusted, or removed to better reflect your vision: a few more flowers, a fuller garden, or simply leaving out a parked car, bins, or a satellite dish.

What if my reference photo isn't perfect?

Just send me what you have — a straight-on view from street level works best — along with the property's address if possible. That way, I can check whether Google Street View or other references can help fill in the details.

Can you add a pet or a person to the illustration?

I offer a simplified interpretation of a pet as an add-on, for an additional fee. I don't add people at this time — I like to keep the focus on the place itself.

How true to my photos will the illustration be?

My portraits are illustrations — interpretations created from your photos, somewhere between technical drawing and softly whimsical art. By ordering a portrait, you're embracing the style that's uniquely mine.

How long does the process take?

I take on a limited number of commissions each month. Most orders are completed and shipped within the same month, or shortly after in the month that follows.

Do you offer a digital version?

Yes, a downloadable digital version is available as an add-on alongside the original artwork.

How will my portrait be packaged?

Every illustration is wrapped with care: tissue paper, delicate twine, and an identification card, to keep the surprise intact until it's unwrapped. Unframed pieces ship flat with a rigid backing and protective sleeve; framed pieces travel in a sturdy fitted box.

Where do you ship, and can I pick up my order?

Portraits ship anywhere in Canada and the US via Canada Post. International shipping is available on request. Montreal local pickup is also offered if you'd rather skip shipping costs — pickup location details are sent once your order is ready.

Do you offer framing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A simple, contemporary frame — the "Rodalm" from Ikea — is available as an add-on for local delivery or pickup only, in three colors. If you order a portrait along with a matching frame size, I'll place the illustration in the frame for you, ready to hang. If you'd rather frame it yourself, every illustration is made in standard sizes, making it easy to find a frame that fits.
